10 of the Most Iconic Rooms From British Films and TV Shows Re-Designed for CARPETRIGHT

3D Lines recently completed a very existing project in partnership with Verve Search. Our mission was to take 10 rooms from some of the most iconic British film and TV shows and then use CGI technology to transform the interior design into the twenty-first century. The people behind Verve Search wanted to create a new outreach campaign for Carpetright, which is one of the largest carpet and flooring providers that the United Kingdom has to offer. This campaign (featuring our 3D Renders) will be posted on Carpetright’s website and outreached to journalists to generate publicity and increase links to the website. And we are very proud to say that we have achieved some really good results for this project.

That being said, here are all 10 rooms that we have successfully re-designed and created 3D Interiors Visuals for while working on this project!

One of the most popular rooms that Gryffindor has to offer has gone through some magical changes from our interior designer. The room is now filled with a whole lot of muggle-approved comforts. Also, both the concrete walls and the exposed wooden beam have been re-done, but they have successfully retained a big amount of their ancient castle charms and are still perfect gallery walls. The modern red furniture is a great addition to this already attractive, magical room.

There is absolutely no doubt that the Bank’s children’s bedroom is one of the most interesting rooms that this dream home has to offer. That being said, the children’s bedroom has been completely re-done, and it now uses a minimalistic colour palette. This colour palette goes well with the room’s abundance of natural light, which means that the room now looks better than it has ever looked before. Also, the dated furniture has been replaced by clean lines and simple chic touches, a true masterpiece of interior design.

Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes’s den has been given a complete makeover through interior design. But there is absolutely no reason to worry, for this historic Baker Street hideaway has successfully retained its cosy feel. The room has been refreshed with some interesting wallpapers and furniture, and Sherlock Holmes’ books have received a new home in the form of some nice shelves.

Bridget Jones’s iconic living room has gone through some big changes when it comes to its design. Bot a modern fireplace and a set of neutral colours provide this cosy London apartment with an updated feel. That being said, Bridget Jones’s living room is now an ideal place for listening to classic love ballads and bailing your eyes out.

Wallace and Gromit

Wallace and Gromit’s living room has experienced a modern-day makeover, and we mean this in the best possible way. And even with all the changes that this fancy room has gone through, it has still managed to retain all that comfort that it has always been known for. Both the fresh hardwood flooring and the airy net curtains make this room look bigger than it actually is.

Fawlty Towers

Basil Fawlty’s hotel lobby is mostly known for being the place of many social disasters. But that doesn’t mean that this iconic hotel lobby doesn’t have its pros. With this in mind, Basil Fawlty’s hotel lobby has been flooded with lots of natural light. The wide wood floor and the room’s wallpaper speak of both sophistication and elegance. And now, all this place needs is new management.

The Vicar of Dibley

The living room of one of the most bodacious vicars that Britain has to offer has been turned into a sleek country abode. Even with the new wallpaper and all the new furniture, the room has managed to retain its original feel.

Mark and Jez’s kitchen has been completely re-done, and as a result, it has become a classy hangout. The kitchen’s cabinets have been refreshed with some good-looking handles. Also, the old oven has been thrown away, and in its place now lies a modern stainless steel affair that is capable of handling several roast meals a day. And let’s not forget about the kitchen floor, which now contains some fresh, clean tiles.

Mrs Brown’s Boys

Mrs Brown’s kitchen has been given a much-needed sophisticated re-design. Its blue cabinets have been given a new, fresh look, and the old furniture has been replaced with some nice worktops and tiles. In other words, Mrs Brown’s kitchen has never looked better.

The Royle Family

The Royle Family’s living room was in dire need of an update, so we decided to give it one. That being said, the old furniture has been given a new lease of life, and both the old cabinet and the wooden coffee table have been replaced with much better models.
